Diploma Covers
Diploma covers do not need to be purchased and will be provided to students at the ceremony. The diploma cover will be handed out to students as they walk across the stage. It has no resale value.

The official SUNY Cortland diploma is not presented at the Commencement ceremonies; a diploma cover is presented.
Diplomas will be mailed to the student approximately two to three months after all degree requirements are met, including student teaching, internships and comprehensive exams for graduate students.
- Students completing coursework in December will receive diplomas in February.
- Students completing coursework in May will receive diplomas in August.
- Students completing coursework in August will receive diplomas in November.
