SUNY Cortland offers six different backdrops for campus community use. The backdrops create a dynamic visual effect and provide a perfect accent for a media event, panel discussion or a place for photographs to be taken.
Reservation Process
To borrow a backdrop, please contact the Marketing and Communications Office at 607-753-2232 or email Stacy Hall. You will need to complete the SUNY Cortland Backdrop Loan Consent Form.
Condition and Responsibility Policy
Borrowers must pick up the backdrop, frame and storage bag in person to certify that they are in good working condition and free of defects at the time of the loan, and agree to return them in the same condition as when they were issued.
The borrowing office or department is responsible for maintaining the security and condition of the backdrop for the duration of the loan period and will be held responsible for any professional cleaning, repair or replacement costs resulting from loss or damage occurring while the equipment is in their care.

Designed for presidential and academic events.

Designed for spirited and/or athletic-oriented events, such as Red Dragon Pride Day.

Designed for events involving SUNY officials, such as the chancellor’s visit.
